Hi all,
I've been enjoying RedHat 8.0, but I've run across a
fairly major snag. As the message subject indicates,
my user account "stalls" now at the first startup
icon, Metacity, after I've logged into X. I can log in
under "root".
I browsed for error messages, but have been unable to

Try mv ~/.metacity ~/.metacity.bak
and restart gnome.
You may also try the same operation with other ~/.gnome

Hello,
I really miss the rp3 applet from previous versions of Red Hat (6.1? to
7.3). Single click Internet connection stop and start with feedback on up

convenient.
Does anybody else miss it? Could it be added back in t
