Since the decoders are made the same, you can transfer files without

(originally ripped using Windows Media Player 10.0) has the same audio
quality as that of the tracks from the o

Yes, WMA lossless is exactly that - a perfect CD quality copy of the
original music with absolutely nothing taken away so when burning back to CD
you won't be able to detect any degradation in quality.

maybe, of ripping CDs to WMA, for archiving. However, as I look through the
options in the latest Easy CD-DA extractor, I see .WMA 9.1, but no .WMA
Lossless. Am I missing something?

There is a loss-less format of .WMA not just .WMA in general. The one you
are speaking of is lossy and not lossless.
