have u tried wmp 10 i just updated from 9!! i have upgraded my winamp to 5.2
and have had no problems!!

Subject: WMA lossless and Winamp

I was sad to discover that the Windows Media 9 lossless format won't play
in old reliable Winamp 2.91.
I just got a new computer and wanted to start ripping my albums right away
so I chose the WMA lossless format as I only have Media Player installed so
far.
Silly me has already ripped 200 of my CDs before realizing my problem. I
sure hope the latest Winamp 5x plays this format. I would rather stay with
2.91 but I bet there isn't a plug-in for this format and this version. I
looked at winamp.com and didn't find one.
I actually don't mind using the new version of Windows Media player, now
that I'm using JFW on an XP machine. However, there were two wonderful
plugins I used with Winamp that don't seem to be available for it. One is
the Pacemaker plug-in and the other is Spatialiser 3d.
