do I have to do to get that
message to stop coming up?

I'd like to customize the "index_format" for my "sent" mailbox
to list the "to:" address instead of the "from:" address that
it now displays. Is this possible to do for just one mailbox?
Maybe with a folder-hook?
TIA.

Ha

so since I want to tag everything with a "sent" date less than
Jul 7, I entered "shift-T", and it asks me to enter the pattern
to tag, so I enter
~d <[5 Jul 2000]
but that doesn't work. What format
behold the date is still displayed as "Aug 21".
What am I doing wrong/not doing right?
TIA.

to the Mutt-users folder where I want it to go. When I try to
save a message that I sent to mutt-users, the save hook works
and properly asks me if I want to save that message in
=Mutt-users.
What did I screw up? How do I get my save-hooks to work again?
TIA.

Thanks - that worked. Now that I'm setting $alternates to
a regex for the email
My muttrc has this format for the "index_format"
set index_format="%3C%?M?+& ?%Z %[%b %d] %-16.16F [%-9.9O] %-33.33s (%4l)"
and here's a typical message that appears in my "sent" mbox
mailbox:

mutt 1.2i
pgp 6.5.2
I'm having trouble using Ctl-K to send my public key - it
creates an attachment that is named with the keyid if my
public key, but the attachment is empty. Is there something
else I'm supposed to do to get my public key "in" the
attachment?
TIA.

Another question - if I type in an *incorrect* passphrase,
it won't let me try again - or at least I don't know how
to make it let me try again - so

I found some hits on "pkspxy" referring to Debian pkspxy:
"PGP Public Key Server Proxy Daemon Description: This package..."
I'm on a Redhat 6.1 Linux system with Mutt 1.2i - and I
*didn't* find the same package on Redhat's site. Where can
;pkspxycwrap %r"
I can't find "pkspxycwrap" anywhere on my system - anyone
know what command I should be using to fetch keys?
TIA.

But now they don't. What am I doing wrong?

What if you don't have that "Eterm.menu" file on your system?
I'm on a RedHat 6.1 Linux system - should Eterm.menu be there?
Or is there another package that I need?
Thanks.

is supposed to work, or is there a way
I can make Mutt show me INBOX-Mutt sorted by
reverse_date_received each time I view it?
Thanks.

gested getting the Mutt source and recompiling
with the "--enable-nfs-fix" option. So I did the same thing, and it
worked for me too.
So, you might try getting the Mutt source, and recompiling with the
"--enable-nfs-fix" option.
Hope this helps.

ay it is
supposed to work? My impression is that whenever I go into
=INBOX-Mutt the order should be what I specified in the
folder-hook. Am I wrong?

I haven't been able to find how to "expunge" deleted messages from
mutt - the only way I've been able to do that is to delete the
message(s) and then exit out of mutt, and then come back in. Sorry
for these basic questions - still learning.

I'm getting an error when I try to reply to a list - the mail error
message says "Sender domain must exist" - so I think it's having
trouble with my domain. Is there a way I can specify *my* address
that gets put on outgoing mail?

That seems to have done the trick - I've set "timeout" and "mail_check"
both to 0(zero), and the xbiff notification remains
