apmd works ok, although suspend is not supported. 4.6 did not regulate
processor speed properly, but that's been fixed in current.
The biggest obstacle in running OpenBSD on the MacBook Pro is that the

Hello,
Can anyone tell me whether the Macbook Pro's USB Bluetooth Adaptor is
supported? I get the following line from my dmesg:
ugen0 at uhub0 port 4 "Apple Computer Bluetooth" rev 2.00/0.0b addr 2
Unfortunately, I don't see any ubt device, even though I have enabled
it in my kernel.

Hi!
I am running OpenBSD 4.3-current (bsd.mp/i386) here on a MacBook Pro 3.1
(SantaRosa). The stock bsd.rd ramdisk that came with 4.3-release
worked for me as does bsd
Try a new snapshot in a few days, things in ACPI land have
changed a lot since 4.3.

Hey all,
I have previously been able to run OpenBSD 4.2-current on my Macbook Pro. It's
been a while since I did so, but I wanted to go ahead and reinstall my machine
with 4.3. The biggest change that I expected to affect me was the automatic
enabling of ACPI for the kernel. I thought
resolution of 1440x900 (which is only possible with depth 24) X is
unusable slow.
But I am pretty satisfied with the performance of OpenBSD on my
macbook pro anyway (the wlan adapter was not very expensive and I am
not using X that much).
Regards,
Max.
