VLC Help Needed

Hello, I have just installed the VLC app on my Mac Mini and I am trying to listen to an Audible book with it but every time I open the file in VLC I cannot seem to hear anything. I have checked to make sure that mute is not on, and I have also checked to make sure that the volume is turned up.

I have solved my Drop Box problem. Steve was correct in saying that you need to install Drop Box outside of the apps folder. What I did was, locate the DMG file, I opened it and when presented with the .app file, instead of copying it to the apps folder, I instead opened it and was presented
