Hi Alex,

Thank you for these. I want to at some point learn how to write my own Apple
Scripts but as of yet I haven't started that task.

As I clicked on your link Safari opened but all that I had was an empty html
content area, so thinking that something went wrong, I clicked on it again, and
again, and then one more time before I got the bright idea to check my
Downloads folder to see if what I was actually doing was downloading this file
over, and over again.

Sure enough, I had about 4 copies of the file which brings me to my question
for you. Would it be possible for you to write an Apple Script that could give
the user some confirmation when a download had actually started and ended? This
would be a great piece
 of information to have.

Thanks and have a great day,
Scott Rumery
