Hi, you could use a different program to listen to your song. If I am not mistaken, iTunes only adds the file to your library because you are using it to play that file. So if you were to use something like VLC to play your files, then it should not be added to your iTunes library. If I am wrong, I am sure someone else on the list will let me know. I just thought that this approach might be worth mentioning.
