call Apple and ask them. I think I'll like mail too, but for right now
I'm not quite understanding it.There aren't buttons for send and
stuff, so I assume I need ommands. I'm sure I'll learn it quickly.
Thanks,

Hi Jessi, what i usually do is have my preview pane turned off, and
instead of hitting VO J to read my messages, I can simply hit return,
and VO will start reading the message which I've selected. In WIndows
back when I used it, I heard that having the preview pane on in a
mail client ca
Yes, would be very interested in that as well.

Hi all, in Amadeus pro, if I start recording a file, and hit enter to
totally stop recording, I've tried playing the file, until the end of
that, and then moving the insersion point to the play head with
command Y, and then hitting command r, to hopefully append to the
file, but unfortunat
Hi Arthur, there is certainly a field there for email, but it's not
really labeled well. And those pop-up buttons are to select home,
work, etc. Those edit fields that aren't labeled, do have VO help
tags though, so you can use VO H to tell what they are. I found this
to be a little tri
Yeah well said Jenni, I totally agree. I'd used WIndows, and a PC for
a long time, and just got tired of it. I'd heard so many horror
stories about Vista, and to be honest, I was tired of constantly
having to pay every couple years to keep JAWS updated. I've been
using macs now, since
Hi Bret, here's something you can try. Go into the develop menu, and
change the user agent tosomething like Internet explorer. If you
don't see the develop menu,it can be enabled under the advanced
section of Safari's preferences. This should hopefully do the trick.

Hey all, I'm aware that it is possible to set up another user account
in another language if you wanted to, even if you've installed MacOS
in English. A friend of mine is considering possibly getting a mac,
and even though she can speak English very well, I think her first
language is Spa
Hasn't Apple localised Mac os as a whole in multiple languages already
though?

Or what you could do as well, is hit control f8 to get to those status
menus, and then you and simply arrow across without even using the VO
keys. , What I usually do here, is hit control f8, and hit my left
arrow, and I can get the current time that way.

And what about that gps application that was demonstrated as part of
the WWDC keynote. All the developer of that would have to do is make
that accessible with VO on the iPhone? I'm assuming?

Wasn't it always command [? I've used that keystroke ever since
Safari 3 actually, noticed that was the shortcut for going back that
was announced by VO in going through the menus. So I've always used
that since Safari 3.
