Hello Andrew, The command you are using to try to select text is the command for selecting non-contiguous items. The command you want is VO-Return at the beginning and end of the text you wish to select. You should hear a whooshing sound as you select the text. You could also try the usual way

Yes, Sophos works mostly well. I don't need it anymore since I last swept my data with it, but for on-demand scans it's fine. But yes, generally I don't think AV is needed for Mac. More than anything, keep your software updated and practice safe computing, and you should be fine. -- You rece
