I'd suggest a different approach: tag everything. If you set the genre of your 
music, you can then just make a smart playlist and tell it to exclude all 
holiday or Christmas music. I'm sure there are other systems, but multiple 
libraries seems like it would get difficult to manage. I don't know, I'm not a 
huge iTunes user...
