Hi there 
It may not work in Preview, but I just tested the ability to copy text using 
PDf Pen Pro. I couldn't figure out how to select using shift down arrow, but I 
did command A and copied to the clipboard. Then I went to TextEdit, and pasted 
it into a file. It worked, although I have no idea if it kept the formatting. 
It talked fine, though. 

I used a short form to test this. If you want, I can use a longer form to test 
it and see what happens.
