Thanks John. Unfortunately, it looks like this method won't work for me. The only thing I seem to have is "apple ID authentication", which shows password values of something like a hundred characters, which is definitely not what I typed in. Something is screwy on my machine. Not surprising. :)

It should be further down the list. Make sure you definitely have the login item chose from the keychain column and then passwords from the category list, which is the second one down. YOur Apple ID should just say, Apple ID. I just tested this on two machines here. Take Care John D. P
