Iphone not syncing

Hi all, I have been tryin to sinc my iphone but it just says cannot sync because the sync timed out or something. I have tried connecting it to my Mac and doing it through Itunes that way and I have tried doing it over wifi when plugged in, it says the same thing each time. I have synced from m
