I've had issues with the activation sometimes when upgrading or changing
systems, cleaning up my permissions tables or other tasks. It seems as though
infovox ivox 3 is about to come out which will resolve this issue. If it's a
full version upgrade, there must be some goodies waiting :)

I managed to get my chromevox installed and i tested it, and as is so common
amongst us i will now give my thoughts, mostly complaints about it.
I think Chromevox has potential. The navigation, as long as it's basic is quite
nice. I put it through its paces on a swedish site to buy ticket
Persoanlly I buy it everytime, its worth it as it covers hardware failures, but
also the software, so you can ring up and ask questions like, how do I use
iTunes, or how do I use mail etc.

I've tried the Money Reader with euros, pounds and US dollars and it works fine
for all of them. The only thing it didn't recognise was a Scottish pound note.
1 pound notes are not generally available, so this is no surprise. Also, it

No. It's all different now. You have to go to the search area in the address
bar with control-option-f, then VO-right to get to the downloads button and
press it. Apparently, it's a panel that attaches itself to whichever tab you're
using. You can still use command-w to close it, though.

Did you format the disk to Mac standards? IF not, that's why. My experience
so far shows that most disks you buy come pre-formatted for windows and you
have to reformat them.

amount of light in the room your in. People using the iPhone 4 don't need to

The other thing I did this morning was to put the money on my lap so that it
was flat. It used to be that you could hold it almost any old way and it would
work. I'm not sure you can do that any more.

This is normal OSX behavior. In general the Mac will always copy files
from one volume to another. You can only do moves within a single
volume. This is true of USB drives, network mounts, firewire drives etc.

become frustrated by the fact that changing the voice means that menu items are
read badly. Here's what to do to avoid this.
• Open VoiceOver Utility (VO-F8);
• Select the Speech category;
• Navigate right through

screen to go away. I believe that's the license screen, but I haven't gotten
anyone sighted to look at it. Once you get passed that screen, the app is

Two things I can think of. It may only be available in certain countries.
