than the normal way VO determines elements. I've seen this in Server Admin and
on a few web-pages as well. Sometimes you need to use a VO mouse-click to

Try using VO-shift-f3 with your FN key. The FN should be in the bottom left
corner of your keyboard. I tried it with my MBP and noticed that VO-shift-f3
does nothing unless you hold down the FN key with that combination.

I'd recommend you change this, because as voiceover users you will bie using
the function keys often. Go to system prefs, keyboard, and there will be a
checkbox to use the f1, f2 keys etc for standard functions or something like
that. Check it, and the function keys will perform software act

I believe that I've figured out why your checkboxes are not announcing
themselves, in the VO Utility, under the Verbosity item, select Medium instead
of Low and you should have better luck with VO announcing the state of such
things.
