Hi,
Actually, now that you mention Text Edit. Every time I type in Text Edit, I
hear "Busy" until I'm done typing. Editing works fine, just not typing. I hope
it'll fix itself. I've had some things on this Mac that have fixed themselves
over time.

Peter, if you use the VO Command Left Arrow command, I think it's
twice, you'll land on the rate setting. Then you can use VO command
up and down arrow to raise or lower the rate. I don't know of a way
to adjust the rate for a single command however.

I run an external USB keyboard when using my laptop at my desk so I
don't have to deal with some of the oddities of laptop layout. So I just
plug in the USB keyboard and use it from then on. The Mac and Fusion all
seem to not care where the keystrokes are coming from.

The issue I'm having with Text edit is that VO just decides to stop
telling me what I'm typing. It's frustrating. Well, I have figured
if I turn VO off and then on again it will often work properly but not
always. It's weird.

I just checked out MAX, it is very cool. For just ripping to mp3 I
feel that nmp3ripper is the east to use. To use audio hijack you will
have to play the CD. This would take a lot of time.

Thanks, Louie.
I'm not upgraded yet to SL. Nice that the program uses LAME 3.97 to
