Thanks, Louie. I'm not upgraded yet to SL. Nice that the program uses LAME 3.97 to rip. I'm using a program called iTunes-LAME-3.98.2-x86 for the MP3 ripping. Probably not as simple as NMP3 Ripper, but works OK for me. I'm not sure whether the link to the executable version of the app still works, but if you want to try it out, it's described in this archived list post about media players on Mac OS X:
