Hi Matt,
For me, the reason I run fusion is to use k1000.
I do have abby fine reader and docuscan on my mac as well, but nothing compares
to k1000 for quality of recognition and ease of use from one peice of software.
If you could give hints and/or tips for using fine reader to get good results
Your thoughts are almost exactly mine, although NVDA doesn't support braille
enough for me to be comfortable with silent braille operation, but yes, I use
Mush-client in Windows XP. Actually, there is a free, windows xp vm, with an
older version of NVDA installed, but still, its out there.

Windows (and Linux) is for games. An XP VM will do. It runs audio games and
screen readers, now unchanging forever, that will handle such basic functions
as console output correctly. If only OS X’s terminal support worked, MUDing
and Interactive Fiction would at least be alternative gaming po

No, you would usually use one or the other, and I would suggest vmware. It

Hi Matt,
One example would be PDF files. I use JAWS which allows me to move through the

Hi Matt. I use Windows for a couple of reasons. The first one may sound trivial
for some people, but I like to use voices that aren't on the Mac yet, like the
Siri voices that I can use with NVDA. That's also how I found out about Acapela
Sharon before she came to the Mac because she was availab

thorough answer. There’s no need to be offended. He could just as easily have
