Matt,
I can only attest to my situation. I have a couple Windows apps that do not have an OS X version or one that is accessible. This is why I liked Bootcamp until it broke. I rarely needed to boot into Windows. Now I have VMware set up and while its running very nicely, its not near as ideal due to the two OSs sharing the same resources.

I would just as soon use the Mac only. Just need to do some more learning.

My question to anyone who has windows or wants to put Windows on your
Mac is this. What are you wanting to do on windows that you don't think
you'll be able to do on your Mac? The problem usually with those who use
windows on the Mac is they get stuck with something on the Mac with
voiceover and then revert back to using windows and sometimes will end
up just using Windows on a Mac. I used VMware fusion for a while, but no
hardly use windows as I can do everything on my Mac.
If you ever need any assistance, feel free to reach out to me or anyone

where I know train others on how to use the Mac.

does a mac need both VM Ware and bootcamp to run windows

I am just wondering if both VM-Ware Fusion and Bootcamp are needed in
order to run Windows on a mac?

I have both on my system and have difficulty switching between
windows and the mac system; I do not see the bootcamp disc in the
settings to select which disc one wants to startup.

Thanks for any thoughts.
