Hi Matt. I use Windows for a couple of reasons. The first one may sound trivial
for some people, but I like to use voices that aren't on the Mac yet, like the
Siri voices that I can use with NVDA. That's also how I found out about Acapela
Sharon before she came to the Mac because she was available to use with NVDA.
The second reason is when I'm tired of playing RS Games, I like to go on
QuentinC's Playroom. Sure, I could easily log on to the mobile site with Safari
on my Mac and play it from there, but Voiceover keeps interrupting itself when
I play a game and when using the built-in speech function they offer, you can't
control the speech rate so for me it's way too fast. So until Ameniel either
fixes the issues with the mobile client or makes a Mac version of the Windows
client which he adamantly says he won't do unless he can find a developer that
would help him make it for free, I'll stick to Windows to play on the Playroom.
