Of course there is no reason why you cannot contact the developers of ABBYY and

In my opinion, complaining can create a solution just as much as reading a

Hi again Carolyn,
Unfortunately, it does seem that we as Mac users sometimes get short shrift.
Maybe we can somehow get this situation resolved somehow. It appears that

Well at least for me, ABBYY works perfectly with my HP all-in-one. The reason
is ABBYY gets along with the twain driver of the HP software, which itself is
quite accessible. S don't tell HP that, they may just screw things up. :)

If I remember correctly, people often used a different program to scan because
Abbyy is not good at making friends with a lot of scanners. So, people find it

Honestly Jenny, I don't really remember what my issue was with ABBYY Fine

Yes, Abby Fine Reader is $99. Hmmm, what type of problem were you having with

program that would allow you to scan, recognize and read all in

Personally, I think Docuscan works rather well with a flatbed scanner. My only
hangup with it is the "cloud-only issue and the time in which it takes to

My Cannon Canoscan 220 worked great too. I haven't shelled out the $299 yet.
I keep hoping for a less expensive solution. My demo of ABBYY Fine Reader
