Well, personally, I don't use vuscan, but I do use the software for my specific scanner. Once the document has scanned, MPNavigator, automatically launches Abby Fine reader. Then, I simply click the "create searchable PDF" button and Abby does it's thing. It sounds much more complicated than it really is. In any case, I know different folks have different scanners and different scanning software, so the simplicity of the process is going to vary from person to person.
