Hi Carolyn, I bought Abbyfinereader $99.00 figuring that it would be an inexpensive way to scan. It would not work with my scanner which is a Canoscan lide 90. When Docuscan came along, I deleted the other one and just considered it a bad job. The problem is that we are given outdated scan engines so as I see it, there is nothing really out there for us. I can understand people's concerns about having personal stuff out on the internet and paying $299.00 but I would rather do that then waste money on a program that doesn't work.
