dictation. I was curious about dictation but I don't really know how much I

It would probably fix the keyboard problem. Now, the dictation issue is
questionable. I'm reading more of this being a problem after upgrades. I'm on
about step 12 right now and we'll see if it gets fixed. I usually don't bother
with dictation as I find it easier just to type and not ha
OK, it's deleted and the Mac has been shut down and restarted. The problem
with the option key is still there, I haven't tried to dictate anything yet.

The one named "com.apple.assistance.plist" is the one you want to remove.
Leave the other ones be. It will rebuild itself as needed. It may not hurt to
restart your computer after removing the plist file to ensure it uses a fresh
new copy of it.

various suffixes. For example, there's one dated this afternoon-presumably

The Touch Bar is quite useful for the sighted user and does come in quite
handy. It, like soft buttons on an IP phone, or touch screen on a smart phone,
gives the ability to have less physical buttons but still have functionality.

You get used to the touch bar. I mostly just use it to insert emojis, but
every once in a while I use it for other things. But no, I don't think it's as
great an enhancement as the good people at Apple seem to think it is.
