Hi Donna, I don't believe that that is the issue, but to get rid of a keyboard layout, select it in the table, stop interacting with the table and navigate right to the "Remove" button. It's not right beside the table, but if you VO right a few extra times, you'll find it. I've found that if you cmd-tab out of the application you were dictating in, then cmd-tab back into it, your keyboard should begin behaving properly. I've been testing some dictation stuff with both VO on and VO off as I'm thinking that VO use has something to do with the dictation woes your currently having. I have noticed that sort of thing in the past, but thought that it was hopefully fixed by now. There's some dictation settings both in the keyboard pane of System Prefs as well as the ones in the Accessibility pane. There could be some conflict happening between dictation and the dictation commands. Not sure yet but will play, oops, I mean work some more on this.

I'm wondering if that's what's giving me the trouble with the option key, so would like to try removing it. In system Prefs, the option to add a language is very clear, but I see no way to remove one once you've added it. Anyone know how to do this? I tried Google, but found nothing.
