I have a friend who has experienced this just yesterday. For her, it has nothing to do with dictation, or at least not that she is aware of. She is new to the Mac, so she may be accidentally pressing the function key twice rapidly enough to get the dictation window to open. In any case, I’d like to get an answer to this as well.
