The preferences control for user management seems like a straight forward but
daunting task. I wanted to share this little command line application that
allows you to simulate moving a mouse to an x y coordinate and click the mouse.

You definitely need to at least have a monitor connected, the older minis, from
before 2008 could get around this by connecting the adapter that allows you to
connect it to a TV through the RCA plug. All newer minis however, must be
connected to a monitor, no way around it.

I figured out the solution last night. In frustration, I went to the keyboard
pane in preferences. One of the options was to use function keys as regular
function keys. I check the box, and guess what, all of the function keys worked
as function keys. Problem solved.

You're very correct, as a Dropbox user, I'd love to see this fixed, should I
need to use Dropbox with VoiceOver on. I use mostly Zoom now, but there may
come a day. I haven't tried this yet to see if this causes problems on my
10.6.8 system.

volumes first and then add them as you would if you wanted an application to
startup with the system. I have done this and it works like a charm.

This is a very annoying known issue in Lion. I don't remember what Apple scrued
up but they broke some of the protocols which cause this issue. The easiest
thing you can do is press command k in Finder, and type the following: smb://

Right now, I have to go into the finder sidebar and mount it so it shows up on
my desktop.
Once I do that, it remains on the desktop until the next time i boot up.

those keys it works fine until I restart the Mini, at which time the
settings revert to the defaults and I have to do the setting again. And
