Hi.
This is a very annoying known issue in Lion. I don't remember what Apple scrued 
up but they broke some of the protocols which cause this issue. The easiest 
thing you can do is press command k in Finder, and type the following: smb:// 
and then the name on your network drive.
Here is an example:
smp://server
and then press enter. If you have more than one network drive, you can store 
these as your favorit drives. Otherwise you just have to write this once, and 
then the address to your network drive won't be deleted next time you press 
command k.
