With a full page picture, landscape the picture goes out past the right

Hello All,
I have obviously made an error creating this file in 2007 and now I'm
unable to open it.
This message in Lyx:
/home/charlie/lyx/rec-reserve/letters/shire/07-08-shire-funding.lyx is
not a readable LyX document
In a text editor the message is:
The file
/home/charlie/shire/
t text in a LyX document. Just pressing, at the same
time, left and right mouse buttons, can paste into xterm.
Something that does happen on a couple of blog sites, is, if directly
copying from text from LyX, causes it all to be seen as a hyperlink? No
biggie though. Just copy it into a text editor a
he browser because it may
contain malicious contents.
Expected: application/pdf(.pdf); found: application/octet-stream(.bin)
It asks to open anyway, and it opens as a .pdf file just the way it
was created?
A small sample attached.
Any ideas?
TIA
