appears in my lyx document. Does gbib support lyx-1.2? Any ideas
on why the piping isn't working. If I cat something to the pipe, I get a
response from the lyx server.
Thanks,

Sorry, I forgot to mention, I used
exec-prefix=/usr/local/lyx2 and prefix=/usr/local/lyx2
when I ran ./configure -- but that couldn't be the
problem could it? Should I just cvs update and try
again?
Thanks,
Ben

After taking Herbert's suggestion and adding a file

I just got the cvs version of lyx and was able to
compile it without any problems (frontent=xforms, use

Two probably basic questions -- I want to cross-reference my figures.
I'm using lyx 1.2 from cvs. I did insert float, then insert figure. The

I'm using lyx 12 cvs with the Article class, which does page numbering.
Currently I have my abstract, a page break, my generated TOC, a page break
and then my content, but the page numering starts with the abstract. I
want to make the numbering start on page "3", (my content), ie after the
TOC. Is
I'm using a cvs version of lyx 0.12. I want to insert a figure with text
wrapping around it. When I go to Layout, Paragraph, I don't see a place
for extra options to put in the option floatfit, as is in 0.11.6. Is this
option put somewhere else, or not implemented yet?
Thanks,
Ben
I'm trying to modify the revtex4 / aps stylesheets for my bibliography
format (I'm using bibtex). I want every /cite to make a footnote that
dispalys the author and the date.
I edited aps.rtx so I have:
\bibpunct{(}{)}{,}{a}{}{,}
and now the normal /cite command produces (inline):
Author (year)
Is there a way to use an equation array in lyx? I want to use :

I can type this in manually into lyx in latex mode, but for equations more
complex than 1+1=2, I want to use lyx's math tools. When I try
