I have mandrake 8.1 and I'm using lyx-1.1.6fix3 along with tetex-1.0.7 and
latex2html-2000.1beta. I'm new to lyx/ latex and I'm trying to use revtex4
template with lyx, but
having problems.
When I open a new template in lyx and select revtex4 I get
"document uses unknown textclass "revtex4" Lyx will not be able t produce
output correctly"
So I thought I was missing parts of revtex4. I downloaded it from
www.aip.org (tar that has 10,11 adn12pt.rtx apsrmp.bst aps.rtx revsymb.sty
revtex4.cls revsymb.sty)
I put the .bst in /usr/share/texmf/bibtex/bst/revtext4 (I made that
directory).
The sty in /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/revtex4 and
/usr/lib/latex2html/texinputs.
I've got revtex4.cls located in
/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/lyx/revtex4.cls
/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/revtex4/revtex4.cls
/usr/share/lyx/tex/revtex4.cls
And ran texhash, but not dice. I think the problem is that there is no
revtex4.sty -- but the file isn't including in anything I can find.
I'm using revtex which is mainly working, but with a few errors with I do
view (used an old interface to call babel) (Tex capacity exceeded)
(incomplete /iffalse; all text was ignored after line 10 /end {document}
-- this is from just the template. Also, how do I save the doc as a pdf --
when I do export I don't see a new file anywhere.
