I've used a TWM (Spectrwm) with LyX on OpenBSD for more than 3

I found were working out how to use the columns environment and putting
things into blocks without invoking a title (solved this by starting
with Ctrl-Space).

I was very interested to see this thread because when I posted a query
on the same subject some time ago I got no replies. For one book I fixed
all the instances manually but it was a lot of work. For another, I just
gave up and left it, because on looking at other books by

me what would be the advantages of using Memoir (or point me to
somewhere that discusses this)?

opted for this in the case of Google, while Amazon did it anyway. Both
books are selling, though in small numbers. On balance, I think/hope
that the ability of readers to see a selection of pages will be helpful
to sales. As Steve says, it is much the same as being able to look
through a book in a bookshop.
