I use Skim as my previewer, but I am having trouble getting the
reverse search to work with LyX.
Here is what I do: (following wiki instructions http://wiki.lyx.org/Mac/Mac

1. add" \usepackage{pdfsync}" line in preamble
(Document>Settings>Latex Preamble)

This morning I got an acceptably tagged text file out of MS Word. From that
moment on, things got much easier.
I made a perl script to remove end tags, and instead put start tags on all
lines between a start and end. It also made sure there were no interlinking
tag sets. It also put all the sta

Hi!
I become acquainted with bookmark package (http://texcatalogue.sarovar.org/

Count me in as well, lyx2lyx is my baby and I like it to be used for

Hello together!
I'm working with Lyx 1.5.5 on Windows XP.
I'm trying to get HellmutsBusiness-template
(http://wiki.lyx.org/Examples/HellmutsBusiness) running. The version in
the wiki is built on Lyx 1.6, so Hellmut sent me a version for Lyx 1.5
(see attachment). This file I can open with Lyx

If you're using endnotes RATHER THAN footnotes, there is a much easier
system. If you want to use endnotes as well as footn
use \cite{reference} within the ert. Also, depending upon the
bibliography style and packages installed you can use things like
\citename{reference}, \citeyear{reference}.

This is little off topic question, but connected somehow. Maybe I should ask
on devel?
As far as I know 1.6 (I didn't install beta for now) has new modular
functionality for packages support. Is there a support for additional
document build steps in classic output types?
