Since I got such a speedy answer (which worked!) on my last question, I have

I wish to write the following latex code in lyx:

Hello,
Is there an other way to insert sub/superscipts than going into math mode?
I would like to enter chemical formulas in plain text and text mode in math
is quite cumbersome.
Thanks,

I've created a document that contains "Include File..."s. When I try to
"Export as Ascii Text..." none of the include files are exported. Is there
a way to get the include files to export? Export works for HTML, DVI,
PostScript, and LaTeX.
LyX is using this command to export to Ascii Text:

Sorry, I don't know how to
Bonsoir,
Suppose I type Ctrl-D, aiming to delete a character, just like in Xemacs.
LyX then starts a sometimes quite long compiling process.
Now, suppose I would like to stop it, instead of waiting for minutes.
What should I do?

No but probably you can enter the table inside the figure float :)

Hello,
You can use a float to do that.
1 - Add an image float (Insert->Float->Picture float)
2 - Add the title
3 - Put the cursor on the beginning of the title and press Enter
4 - Add the first image (Insert->Figure)
5 - Press Enter and add the second image.
If you want the two images side by sid

For going from jpeg to ps, the best option is a program called jepg2ps.
The embeds the bitmap into a postscript file, along with a small
converter, written in postscript. Usually only adds a few k to the file
size.

Hi all!
I am getting frustrated.
I am trying to place two eps graphics side by side on one line.
Both must have an unique caption.
What I know:
- I don't want to use the subfigure mode. (not acceptable :)
- I tried to use minipages, but LyX does something crap with it.
I tried to define two
I have corrected both shell scripts
/usr/local/lyx/bin/reLyX
/usr/local/lyx/share/lyx/configure
because Reconfiguration (called within LyX) and LaTeX import didn't work in
some cases.
Please -- as usual -- have a look at

Hello,
I became interested in TeX and managed to install
MikTeX on Windows 98.
It seemed like LyX was the logical choice for a
word editor.
So I downloaded LyX for Windows and the required
X-window server X-win32.
I have managed to install Linux in the past.
However, I am lost in the
