Do you use Ubuntu? If so, Liviu Andronic and Rob Oakes have set up a PPA: https://launchpad.net/~lyx-devel/+archive/daily Respond (to the list) if you need instructions on how to set that up (it's easy). If you don't use Ubuntu, see the instructions in the source tar ball for how to compile. Scot
