Yes you're right and no - I ignored the advise to download mythes (sorry 
Bennett).
Instead of I downloaded and installed some dictionaries from openoffice.org.

So the question is: is it legal to ship those dictionaries with LyX?
Can some kind soul with the knowledge about such things tell?

Next question if it is legal: how to mix these shipped dictionaries with those
the user already has on the machine.
