Hi
I created a new file in Koma book format and wrote some text as Part I. I then
needed to make cross references from another file in the same directory and
created Part II and loaded this other file using menu item Insert > File >
LyxDocument.
I found that the figures were no longe visible.

Hi
For a couple of weeks I have been working on a document of about 50 pages (pdf
version) and have experienced about 6 crashes of Lyx in that time. I posted
this list when it first happened a couple of times. At the time I had
believed the problem may have been caused by some rather long tables
Hi
Seems the spell check now does not work on the contents of a Lyx Table. I am
beginning to wonder if it did on previous versions. Anyone else had this
problem?

Hi
I seem to be persistently getting double entries when I enter a label through
accepting the default title and even otherwise.
Is this a bug in lyx1.4.0pre3 and if so is anyone else getting it too. Its
fully replicatable on my machine.

Hi
Long table does not split when inside a Table float.
I am not sure this is unique to this version of Lyx though I seem to think I
have used this successfully before.

Hi
On several occasions while working on a document, I have found that the
document dissappears suddenly and Lyx is no longer loaded. It appears that
this follows the use of the Page Up and Page Down keys. However, Lyx creates
an emergency version before quitting so one does not actually lose a
Hi
It seems that if a Bookmark is set on one version of a document which is then
closed, then, when working on a later version of the document, calling that
bookmark will open the previous document. This happens quite rapidly and it
is very possible that one then starts working on that older ve
Hi
I am currently writing a report using Lyx1.4.0pre3 and note that the
bookmarks frequently get corrupted.
I have tried testing the bookmark when setting it by moving the cursor a few
lines away and checking that Ctrl n brings it back to the original position.
However, after some minutes of
Hi
I find that the appearance of a chapter in a Lyx Note now seems to change the
chapter numbers for succeeding chapters. My understanding was that this was
not the case previously. However, with the addition formally of the comment
facility, it is possible this effect was intended. If so it m
Hi
I would like to point to two issues that may be bugs in Lyx 1.4.0pre3
1. Tables
When one calls up the table settings menu by a right click when within a
table, then changing the horizontal alignment does not change the alignment
visually. However, when it is viewed in pdflatex the result
Hi
I personally find the following changes problematic compared to the 1.3.6
release
1. Within a table, if I select a range of cells only some of which have text,
then using the text style change does not do anything. You have to actually
select only those cells which have text within them.
2.
