Hi I personally find the following changes problematic compared to the 1.3.6 release
1. Within a table, if I select a range of cells only some of which have text, then using the text style change does not do anything. You have to actually select only those cells which have text within them. 2. Previously we could paste from an excel or gnumeric spreadsheet into the cells of a Lyx table through a process documented on the wiki at : http://wiki.lyx.org/Tips/CopyTablesFromSpreadsheets. This no longer works. That makes it very difficult to transfer data between a spreadsheet and a lyx table. I would suggest this feature be retained. 3. I really preferred the previous method of adding/deleting rows and columns. The current design is really not very use friendly for me. That apart, the Lyx 1.4 is a great step forward. best regards and thanks for the great work you guys are doing samar
