Hi On several occasions while working on a document, I have found that the document dissappears suddenly and Lyx is no longer loaded. It appears that this follows the use of the Page Up and Page Down keys. However, Lyx creates an emergency version before quitting so one does not actually lose any of the text.
Regrettably, I cannot easily replicate the problem. I wonder if anyone else has had the same experience and could throw light on the cause. I am using Lyx 1.4.0pre3 on a Mepis Linux platform. The document I am working on is about 50 pages long and there are several png images within the latter end of the document. Lyx1.4.0pre3 takes a rather long time to render these and it is possible that rapid movement of the Page Up /Down could have caused this. samar
