Hi again,
believe it or not - this crazy space problem re-appeared (I cannot add a
space in the text). Unfortunately, it happens so often that I have to
bother you again.
Meanwhile I found out the following: If I run "lyx -dbg any" I get a lot
of output such as
Key [39][Right][0]

I can't compile the latest cvs because of the using declaration in
lastfiles.C:85 and table.C:746 (I use an old g++ - ver. 2.90.29)
This can the fixed by moving the using declarations to the global scope,
or stop using 'using' (std::copy etc. are only used once, so the 'using'
declaration is unnec

Do you have '.' in your PATH? This is probably the reason why reLyX
is found in the build directory. Besides the fact that having '.' in
the PATH is a bad idea, I a

Hiyas!
In installing LyX at various locations the last several days, I noted
that the dependent X GUI library, xforms, has a web site that appears
to be down. Moreover I note that its age suggests that it's getting a
little, well, long in the tooth. Also getting and installing the

If fresh from cvs use "lyx -dbg depend" (or "lyx -dbg depend, latex")

Ok, I'll withdraw the first bug, for the time being anyway. view xdvi is
working fine under 1.1.4pre2. I blame Gremlins!
The second bug, however, still holds. Running with -debug latex:

Hi,
Lars just
Hi all,
I decided to switch from lyx 1.0.4 to lyx 1.1.4pre2 to check to newest
feature... I compiled from source the tarball and all compiled OK. The problem
was when I made a make install... it stopped with :

I can no longer introduce a cross-reference using 1.1.4pre2. The "Insert
Reference" pop-up comes up fine, but there are no references to select from.
This bug was not present in 1.1.4pre1

Hi all,
I still experience the problem that from time to time I cannot add a
space at certain places in the text. For example, if
- you load the attached text into lyx
- immediately remove the space between "has" and "undergone"
in the second par of introduction (very important)

Morning all,
2 bugs to report.
1. I'd like to conform that the "view xdvi" option isn't working correctly
anymore. LaTeX is run only once always. To get tables of contents etc, I have
to manually select "update dvi"
2. the bibtex thingy is broken. It works from within LyX, but LaTeX can't find
