Hi, I don't know if it's still relevant but I must share it with you. I was working in a math box inside a footnote and wondered "what will happen if I try to insert a footnote here ?" what happend was that I lost almost the whole document ! I was left with the last few lines :-{ I'm also attaching the file I was left with. On my machine some very strange things happen when I press right and left keys mainly I get these messages and the cursor move to some unrelated place --- ERROR (LyXParagraph::GetChar): position does not exist. ERROR (LyXParagraph::GetFontSettings): position does not exist. 37 ERROR (LyXParagraph::GetFontSettings): position does not exist. 37 ERROR (LyXParagraph::GetChar): position does not exist. ERROR (LyXParagraph::GetFontSettings): position does not exist. 2 ERROR (LyXParagraph::GetFontSettings): position does not exist. 2 ------- Pls let me know if you find anything (like my document) Other than this last incedent I must say I'm increadibly happy with lyx.
