It works, but known workarounds still apply (eg. for Radeon or Nvidia cards), for me on this powermac G5 as mentioned earlier live boot simply worked, install would need known nvidia workarounds tho as at that point it would simply freeze otherwise but that is nothing new, no show stopper and a lon

In the test to install (auto-resize) in Lubuntu Desktop powerpc ubiquity does not split and resize partitions when told to. The slider can be moved back and forth but the button to continue stays greyed out. It looks like one work-around is to first use Gparted before starting the installation.
