Ok it does indeed seem to fail at fetching something but it does NOT seem to be crucial, so no show stopper!! Installation can continue (press arrow down to the next step and press enter) and finishes successfully.

A minor problem (for me) is that it is oversized and cannot fit on a CD. For some that might be a deal-breaker.
