It works, but known workarounds still apply (eg. for Radeon or Nvidia cards), for me on this powermac G5 as mentioned earlier live boot simply worked, install would need known nvidia workarounds tho as at that point it would simply freeze otherwise but that is nothing new, no show stopper and a longer standing issue.
