so, i am trying to mount another machine of mine over nfs on my local lan.
both machines have nfs kernal support, and the sever has its /etc/exports
all set up with the right parameters for the client to connect.
when i mount : mount 192.168.0.1:/ /mountdir , it mounts the / directo

this is mandrake 8.1, smp kernel (pre-compiled) right after a clean
install. my eth0 is intel 10\100 on board, that uses eepro100 to load. it
seems that the module loads ok at boot time, but fails to ifup the device
:
#ifconfig eth0 up
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Device or resource busy
same happends w
ardware was recognized and configured cleanly by the kernel.
