Preview to view the PDFs. Today I was using a KDE xterm so I used
kghostview to view the PDF. Turns out that cautionary accidentals are
shifted to the right when viewed this way. The parentheses are in the

As it seems that you find the package suspect, I have rebuilt the lilypond
2.0.1 from the tarball, and lo and behold, no more funny stuff! It works.
It seems that the fedora package has been incorrectly built.

I want to extend lilypond functionality by altering an provided scheme
file
(in particular fret-diagrams.scm, adding bass fret as label).
I did the changes to the file but if I start lilypond it complains with:

;;; newer than compiled .../ccache/lily/fret-diagrams.
written to an other cache dir, but this can be
copied to the expected location and everything will be fine.
If I'm ready with my changes for the fret-diagram I will post it here
for feedback.
