Just insert:
\set Score.currentBarNumber = #50
at the break. Details are described here:

Hello,
I'm new in lilypond and I can't align the lines of the pentagram all of the
same length. Any idea?? Grazie mille!
Here's the code:
\version "2.22.1"
\language "english"
\header {
title = "TEST"
composer = "27 August, 1967"
subtitle = "AUTHOR"

(Your code does not compile without change because of the \ in front of
defaultBarType.)
You can align the lines by adding:

Are you so kind to tell me how to insert the linebreaks?
I think it's worthwhile to re-organise your score a bit.

Hello Mahanidhi,
A trick for breaks: I use \myBreak and \myPageBreak, defined this way:

%myBreak = { \break }

% Pick your choice from the next two lines as needed
%myPageBreak = { \break }

Hi;
Not a Lilypond question, but a musical one.
When the tempo is given as "Simply", what metronome marking would that imply?
Thanks,
Ken Wolcott
Hi Ken,
That’s a lovely vague indication, isn’t it! I always felt it implied more
of a playing style than a tempo, but everything I have played that has had
that marking has been mostly along the lines of an “andantino.” It’s hard
to give an exact metronome marking for that, though, it depends on t
Hi Kira;
Attached screenshot.
At bar 11 the tempo changes to a march, so I can figure that out.
Now, since I basically know what the music sounds like, I think that
the default 60bpm that midi uses is ok, but...

Hello folks,The recent posts on this subject show there is interest in the matter. Sorry for the length of this one...My work was initially homed by Grame’s libmusicxml2 library as an example of what it could be used for, in the lilypond branch at https://github.com/grame-cncm/libmusicxml/tree/lily
Alright, that’s a bit beyond my scope of usual music notation and
performance, I’m sorry! I’d say maybe just find a recording of the
soundtrack and match it up?

Yeah, I don't think that's necessary here, but in general, a very good
idea. It would be nice if the original composer/arranger would be a
little bit more specific with their intentions :-)
When I'm using Hymns as a basis for brass quartets, if I am not
familiar with the Hymn, I have to guess abo
