It worked in a VM for me, hopefully it will for you too. One mistake I

I've actually installed it in a VM and built LP successfully, now
building docs (just 'local-doc' not the whole thing) so far seems to
be working great. The new env vars, astyle 2.02.1 and fontforge
20110222 are all in place.

My vote would go for Crunchbang since it's based on Debian stable and
won't be having new releases all the time. I run it on almost every

a bunch of lily files in my $HOME/bin/ directory! I
found a lily/ directory inadvertently last night, and now that I look,
there's the Documentation, ly, make, stepmake, etc. So the files did get
downloaded, just not where expected. Easily fixed...

After pulling the latest changes, the contributor guide pdf version is not
building. The html big-page and all other docs are built properly with
their new names. I looked through the build log and can't find any errors
saying why the CG pdf wouldn't get built.

Excellent. I'm happy to put it into texinfo format and make the
patch, but I'd prefer that actual tablature users write the text.
Thanks,

I think the patch set should include one for fretted-strings.itely
showing the tab clef and whatever other features should be shown,
as well as a brief paragraph about tab conventions.
Great work, though. thanks. :)

I changed beaming
properties on 8th and 16th notes to various groupings and it
worked as expected on the first try in every case. That in itself
is an improvement over the old way of doing things. I like it.
Thanks very much, Carl. :)

, thanks so much for working on this important issue! I've
applied the scheme patches and will experiment a bit later. FYI
there were some whitespace warnings when applying the patches.
