they would gain one as an added bonus. Also, the equipment is quite
reasonable (eg. a MultiTech MVP130 has an MSRP of $499, so a pair would be
under $1000).

oes this mean that my serial
number starts with "8H" or "J0"? Does this mean it's after the "1A" and I
can just change the chips?
BTW, it was originally a Dash 2, but we purchased a chip upgrade to get it
to a Dash 4.
Thanks.

perfect and practically new, the chucks and such were brand new, and we got
a factory warranty. New, the drill would have been at least $400. People
on eBay were paying at that time close to $300 for the same drill, but used
and without any warranty. Why?

2-way is not available, nor is any additional services or features. They'd
rather sell digital services. Before you go much further you should check
to see if your telco even offers 2-way DID.

This just doesn't seem to make any sense to us. It would seem that the whole
point behind the CID table would be to lookup numbers where the name is
missing! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I find it interesting that their SurgeArrest and SurgeStation products are
designed to work with the UPS output, but I do not know what is different
about the design of these products to allow this. It is not something we
have ever found the
department to handle a complete reconfiguration of the
terminal. As for the dial-out number, dial-9 settings, etc, those stored
in fields that are very easy to change on virtually every terminal, so
it would require such a billable reprogramming charge.

Now, that their techs say it's possible, the trick is to get it installed...
I have my doubts that it will work for outgoing, but at least 1/3 less per
trunk is worth the switch.
